Mental Health Coaching with Dr. Scott
When therapy isn’t enough, but giving up isn’t an option.
If you’ve already done therapy, read the books, or tried medication but still feel stuck, you’re not broken — you just need a different approach.
My coaching bridges the gap between insight and action, helping high-functioning people rebuild consistency, purpose, and emotional regulation through clear, science-based systems.
What makes this different
-
Tailored for treatment-resistant depression and anxiety
-
Combines psychology, neuroscience, and behavior design
-
Focuses on measurable daily progress, not vague motivation
These sessions aren’t about endless analysis or surface-level positivity. They’re structured, evidence-based conversations designed to create visible change in how you think, feel, and act. Every tool I teach is one I’ve personally used to recover from my own years-long battle with depression.
Coaching FAQs
How is coaching different from therapy?
Coaching is different from therapy. It involves supportive conversations aimed at helping you achieve your goals, rather than diagnosing or treating a mental health condition.
Do coaching sessions include diagnosis or clinical treatment?
No, coaching sessions do not include diagnostic assessments or psychotherapy. The focus is on practical, goal-oriented strategies and accountability rather than medical treatment.
Do the strategies you teach count as therapy techniques?
The strategies I teach are my personal, experience-based tools that helped me rebuild my own life. They are not formal, empirically validated psychotherapy techniques.
Does insurance cover coaching sessions?
No, coaching sessions are not covered by insurance since they are not considered a medical service. All sessions are paid privately, out of pocket.
Is it possible to do coaching if I already have a therapist or a diagnosis?
Yes, you can do coaching even if you already have a therapist or a diagnosis. Coaching can complement therapy by providing additional structure, accountability, and practical tools. However, it should not replace ongoing clinical treatment.
