Mental Health Coaching with Dr. Scott
When therapy isn’t enough, but giving up isn’t an option.
If you’ve already done therapy, read the books, or tried medication but still feel stuck, you’re not broken — you just need a different approach.
My coaching bridges the gap between insight and action, helping high-functioning people rebuild consistency, purpose, and emotional regulation through clear, science-based systems.
What makes this different
-
Tailored for treatment-resistant depression and anxiety
-
Combines psychology, neuroscience, and behavior design
-
Focuses on measurable daily progress, not vague motivation
These sessions aren’t about endless analysis or surface-level positivity. They’re structured, evidence-based conversations designed to create visible change in how you think, feel, and act. Every tool I teach is one I’ve personally used to recover from my own years-long battle with depression.
Coaching FAQs
Is coaching the same as therapy?
No. Coaching is not therapy. It’s a supportive conversation focused on helping you achieve your goals — not diagnosing or treating a mental health condition.
Do coaching sessions involve a diagnosis or clinical treatment?
No. Coaching does not include diagnostic assessments or psychotherapy. The focus is on practical, goal-oriented strategies and accountability rather than medical treatment.
Are the strategies you teach considered therapy techniques?
The strategies I share are my personal, experience-based tools — the ones that helped me rebuild my own life — not formal, empirically validated psychotherapy interventions.
Is coaching covered by insurance?
No. Because coaching is not a medical service, it isn’t covered by insurance. All coaching sessions are paid privately, out of pocket.
